As our chairperson would be nice if she could support some of her own players events like she does the leeds function
Kingys she only attended 1 event his golf day as she knew she would be with mainly coporate

rule doesn't own the club, he doesn't even have a shareholding as far as I'm aware. So if he left the club would still be fine. He has no experience of operating at the level he is and is learning the job as he goes, much the same as our inexperienced head coach. Both should have learned their trade elsewhere IMO. Both, I'm sure are working as hard as they possibly can but it isn't enough to be a hard worker, you have to have ability as well.

Do you think all the following that have happened whilst Rule has been at the club are also worthy of criticism, or are you just being selective?
Plans for NHS partnership and new training facilities
Record sponsorship deal with P&O
Record shirt sales (14,000 last season)
Hull FC.TV
Merchandise operation
Reducing debt from £2.4m to £1.7m
Record season pass sales
Increased community programmes
Realistically all the above are more controllable by a CEO than performance on the pitch and areas where Rule has done a good job. Rule has done some things I've disagreed with (Reardon being one) but you can't seriously say his tenure has been a disaster off the pitch which is where he has the biggest influence. It's his responsibilty to appoint the right coach, undoubtedly, and I can understand you saying he's got this wrong, but you can't write off everything else that's been done. |
