Don't think so really. There is no 'trap' as such - it's been clear for a long time that the Egyptian guy wants to get his hands on the stadium. It's not a new development whatsoever and this type of nonsense that he peddles is all part and parcel of that. The issue for fans is about our representation at the shared community stadium, and in particular the display of iconic material. Hull FC could easily have made a statement asking fans to hold fire while internal negotiations were ongoing without breaching any terms of any contract whatsoever. The fact that they haven't suggests that they are more than comfortable with what the fans are doing.

The year before he took over - just 2 years ago - the SMC was making a profit and crowd averages weren't much higher. Did the stadium fall apart overnight?

Club shop under threat due to extortionate rent demand. Other stuff going on in the background not in the public domain yet. General thrust being that he's completely lost his rag. Given the way he dealt with the last people to stand up to him it seems all too plausible.

I seem to recall the suites at the KC being refurbished about 3 or 4 years ago, so the cost of that would have been borne that year. Not sure I can understand how a company can go from small profit to huge loss in a year, or how charging to have pictures on walls is going to change that.

How in any way could it be worrying to either us or the council.? I hope it all does go nuclear with the Allams as in the end it could mean only one thing

Sorry for the drift. All I am thinking is that the whole thing is staged and deliberate. No one in the right mind would take pictures of Johnny Whiteley down from the Johnny Whiteley suite.

I was using a different source and the numbers were 13,731 and 12,402 respectively.

I've supported Hull and its fans from the word go on this matter. Some things go beyond club boundaries. The treatment of our legends is one of them.
