| Strength in depth is the key, ours is poor, and when your main players are old and injury prone you dont have to be a scientist to work that out. As for Hutch Luakai, what a waste of a quota place his attempt on Farrell when he scored was comical. No immediate answers i know, but halfbacks have to be recruited .

| Think you need to look at your defensive structure, rather than looking for scapegoats (who weren't even ON the field).
You've had problems for years on that right flank - remember how many tries Big Lesley scored against you down that wing (71 - 0) ?

| i really hope this doesnt go down the line of slagging hall off. Im sure most fans realise he isnt good enough as a first choice player. People stale him, sometimes deserved sometimes not. But at the end of the day he is a back up winger. Now if he was our first choice then i could understand peoples argument.
If people want a good player to play as a stand in when needed and spend most of the time not being picked then its not going to happen. You cant get stand in players that are class unless you want to pay someone 50/60/70 grand.

| Hall isnt good enough for SL, time to get rid at the end of the season, and not just on tonights performance, the minute he makes a mistake, his head goes and hes no good for the rest of the match, just hasnt made the grade

To be fair, tonight I think he actually improved following that knock-on. Not many out-jump Richards for a high ball.
I reckon he'll leave but still get an SL contract somewhere.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Please, please, please try and watch it again. He didn't even move did Hall. Richards was the one who got it (rarely) completely wrong. It was lucky for him that Richards didn't catch it.

| I think we are confusing competence with making someone a scapegoat, he played 40 mins tonite and made two massive unforced errors
1) The knock on from the drop out
2) The wild cross field pass
The problem with Craig is that he does something as crazy as this in almost every game he plays, his jumping out the line is comical bearing in mind how long he has been a pro. As i said it's a real shame coz his attacking play he can be awesome.

| Its big games like this when fringe players get their chance that they HAVE to step up to the plate. Time and time again Hall fails to deliver. Not a scapegoat its a simple fact. He has to go and go soon.
I would add one or two more in there as well, Washy, Leuaki, Dowes and Tansey is starting to get that way. Is he paid by Wigan to turn a game on a missed place penalty kick ? As for the (potential) international Yeaman wtf does he do ? yet again disappointing after raising his game against Rovers. Yes you can argue about beaten packs etc but he never or rarely looks for work. I am thinking of buying him a pair of union shorts so he can put his hands in his pockets while he does nowt. He would certainly have a couple of balls to play with then.

Richards got that all wrong, Hall made numerous errors, knocked on from the restart, wild passes to no-one, standing of tackles, hes a liability and tbh i cant see who would offer him a sl contract

He is right. It was another poor performance from Hall tonight, but he was one of many.

| I can't believe people still have it in for Hall. If he's still making the same mistakes time after time then i'd question the coaching.
Hull never improved when Hall went off and I wouldn't be surprised if the injury is a veil to cover Agar making him a scapegoat again, it's been done before.
Hull never looked like scoring but in their defence other teams would suffer without their 1st choice halves and influential players like Ogre and Fitz. Rovers turned over Warrington at home but Warrington were without Briers and Monaghan, just goes to show...
Put it down as a bad day at the office and look forward to next week.
