Quote: FC Callum "We've been beaten by the two worst teams in the league from last season. We should be joint top with Wigan, with 7 wins 1 loss. But once again they've let the fans down with their attitude at the start of games. Our season could well be over again before the end of April. Can see us losing the next four.'"

Just an observation. The 2 defeats were to the supposedly weakest teams in the league. Both away from home. Is the preparation different when we play away and can our coach get the players into the mindset for these sort of games that we are playing Melbourne Storm........ Like I say.... just an observation.

I think our match preparation is a real problem in general.

So I spent £30 last night for them to turn up at the end of the season?

i can accept losing against crusaders as a blip and the players dint turn up ect ect and we need to move on and learn from our mistakes. but we havent learned from our mistakes have we and that surley lies with the man in charge agar, he needs to make sure that players are well discliplined and well up for the game ect which we clearly wasnt. i think there was ethusiasm at times espcially the line speed cant fault that but in attack we looked like we coundt be botherd and looked disorginised

When they got beat at crusaders that should of been the learning curve for them. The truth is they were bloody awful away from home again and some players really do need to get a reality check. The disclipline and the attitude were all wrong and it is happening all to often. It is also upto the coach to get the team up for it, which imo agar is not doing.I will still reserve judgement for a few more games but on that showing they will be lucky to get a top eight place never mind top four.

I was starting to think that, especially with out away match preparation, what do we do differently on away matches? They just dont seem motavated or have their minds on the game when playing away(Saints been the exception). Are they too busy thinking of a night out they have planned for after the game or something?

I also heard last night they picked up Longy and Tickle from outside a pub in Salford(im not accusing them of drinking before anyone says), personally I think the team should all travel from one place and that they should have some sort of pre match tatic talk the morning of the game before setting off, you can't do this when your picking up 2 of your main players 10 mins from the ground.

Problem with that is that even though we beat Saints, were not as good as them. I wonder how many top sides (Leeds, Saints, Huddersfield, Warrington and Wigan) will go to Wales or Salford and lose both or even either, maybe one, if they have an off day.

we certainly aint no st helens...we will be nowhere near the grand final on last nights showing and anyone who thinks were better prepared than wire, wigan, leeds etc is kidding themselves....take your black and white tinted glasses off and have a good hard look at our failings.....

No it is a problem that a supposedly trophy chasing side go to the supposedly two worst teams and come back with no points.

Is finishing 7th or 8th good enough with the sqaud we have, because thats as high as we will finish with agar in charge, put Brown or Mcguire in charge of Hull and we would be joint top now.

The thing about these coachs is that they arent that high profile either, brown was out of a job and didnt do that well with St george and Mcguire has never coached first grade in the NRL. Both intelligent young coachs, we need soemone simalar to take us to the next level.

I think 6th would be a good finish for Hull if we had a good cup run (semi finals minimum) but can't see it happening. Wigan, Leeds, Huddersfield, Saints and Warrington are miles in front off us. We could easily finish 10th and below again if we carry on like this away from home and our home form starts to go.

im under the impression we need a coach of great experiance to take us forward..agar at times seems out of his depth.....tactically etc he has struggled but he does talk a good game and comes across well in the media etc BUT its a results based business and under his leadership weve been pants for most of it.....
i thought it was a gamble/stop-gap apponitment when he was given the reigns at fc but i feel it is simply a matter of money and attracting someone to come here.....
steve foulkes was availble at the time of agars appointment and why we never went for him i'll never know...graham murray was also available but again we went for the soft/cheap option which has resulted in us basically failing apart over the last 3 years....dont get me wrong, i dont blame agar for all this , peter sharp has alot to answer for, the descion regards briscoe is one which will haunt me forever, his recruitment policy was little short of appauling, at least agar got rid of the dead wood that sharp kept on big contracts but have we actually improved that much?? our sigings seem to be improving but at times we look a shambles on the pitch........
as far as im concerned we are still carrying players who are well past there best on big money....
radford huffs and puffs but is he worth his money?
cusack, solid pro but gotta go at the end of season
dowes, again solid but just not big enough, should have kept wheeldon maybe.
berrigan, good player but seems to be un-interested at times
luaki, as weve said before ...big, strong but a complete liability
tansey, never been a fullback in my opinion, should be 6 for me
yeaman, passenger but solid pro, needs better ball..

until we can sign TOP players in there prime, we will still be struggling against the top teams.....
rule has to be bold and make a descion either way, what if we lose on friday, leeds away and go out of the cup at the first hurdle?? minimum targets must be play-offs and a decent cup run for agar to keep his job... if not then get rid in my opinion and bring someone in whos got the respect of the players and the experiance in winning big games etc etc..
