| Jack Briscoe scored a very good try in the first half, ran through about 4 players.

| watched a few of the academy games recently and have to say having watched many 16 s and 17 s amateur games during last winter a few of the kids seem far better prospects than some of the kids in the FC academy side

| I have to say that I'm a long way from being convinced that lee crooks is the right man to develop and improve our youth set up. Does anyone have any 1st hand experience of what has happened since he came in?
The whole club looks to be a shambles from top to bottom for me and unless some tough decisions are taken it will only get worse

What role does Lee Crooks have with the 18s? Didnt look very professional yesterday propped up against a barrier talking to his buddy at the corner of the pitch without showing much interest in the game. Didnt even have club gear on.
Compare that to Phil Lowe who was fully suited up and his Rovers tie on. Wonder who he was there to see?

| Think the FC scouts need to get their winter jackets out and start looking aroung the amateur games at some of the raw talent still out there according to the Doncaster website they are playing a 17yr old kid from Hull in their first team playing championship level rugby, whats that all about dont recognise his name from FC youth set up. Is this a case of one who got away. Surely if he is good enough to play at this level then he would be more than good enough to play at academy level. You need to ask the question what is going on with youth development at FC?

Playing in the national leagues is alot better than playing for the academy. Hull can't pick up everysingle lad up from the hull and district leagues can they.

Didn't notice him talking to his buddy or anything, but he did have some club gear on.

Assuming he was on club duty should he have been wearing jeans? Discipline starts at the top and little things like that stand out in my opinion.
