| Garbage second half from TO , Right side defence was shocking for two of London's tries . Same with the halfbacks , Didn't create anything . Good performance in the end from London.

| Wonder where Toulouse go from here, unless they've got IMG assurance that they'll be in super league in 2025, I wonder if they'll be able to do it all again next year in the championship? Similarly do London have the budget to sign a few quality super League level players to give it a go in super league in 2024?

The management at Toulouse said publicly they wouldnt invest in the squad this season following their relegation as getting back into S/L this one season was too much of a financial gamble,so i doubt without any assurance from the RFL that promotion or extending the S/L to 14 clubs they will again just to linger in the Championship or more likely pull out of UK rugby league all together.
Personally dont think IMG will be around after next season.Think the RFL will realise that although IMG is a big name what they have so far come up with is pants and does not enhance the game whatsoever, in fact if they were part of negotiations with Sky,televising all games will do nothing but reduce the attendances at games.
It certainly wont lead to more people buying Sky TV packages which is what the idea is.
Maybe Wiz should drop them a line and tell them where they are going wrong

I think Toulouse are in the process of being taken over by.a new consortium, is there much point in having a strong championship team next year though if there's no promotion via the traditional route as it's based on grading? Might be better for Toulouse, York, Wakefield, Bradford etc to focus on the other aspects of IMG grading to try outscore Cas/Salford and try get a super league spot for 2025

| 6 days left till England v Tonga and we still don't know the squad...feel the build up for this has been really poor, just had a look on the RFLs website and there's still loads of tickets left for Saturday's game, think having 3 fixtures v the same opposition all in the heartlands was a bit of a mistake, could've done with either different opposition or having at least one of the games in London

Its always the same, the RFL havnt a clue about marketing and advertising.
I know its a pretty worthless fixture but its an International game and if you dont go onto R/L discusssion boards you wouldnt know there was a match on
IMG too busy with their stats

If it was one game in the heartlands itd sell out, but when there's 3, there's less emphasis to go to a particular game as you've got two more chances of going, a bit frustrating really

This grading is a nonsense, its what happens on the field that should be important.
Just think if a team like Salford had to move to a ty ground due to finance and were pulling in small crowds of 2000 due to the move but they finished second in S/L .
What would IMG do then? For example Toulouse who have a good ground and pulled in average 5000 fans or as you say York and Wakefield all were graded better than Salford would they relegate a team that finished second in S/L because of Stats i dont think so.
IMG since been appointed have done Jack sh-t to enhance R/L in this country and just following the Australian no promtotion/relagation model is hardly inspiring and probably one of the worst decisions for UK Rugby League that could of been made.

| I can see why some people are criticizing IMG but when we have 12 SL chairmen with probably 12 different ideas on how the game should be run , IMG have been up against it in applying a sound strategy to take the game forward .
AP has come out and said he'd prefer a 14 team comp (which it should be in an ideal scenario ) But he'd be the first to argue against any funding cuts to supplement this .
IMG have to deliver an increased TV deal in three years time or it's pretty pointless them sticking around for the remaining 6-7 years .

Yep I also had a look and theyve done the classic trick of only having alternate rows on sale to try and make the stands look busy. Id have also taken 1 game to London (poss Brentfords new ground) Huddersfield while well located doesnt care about RL

| IMG gradings delayed a week, wonder if hadn't banked on London getting promoted and are re-writing the rules so that size of catchment area now has a much bigger weighting and average attendance has a much lower weighting

| Entertaining start to the England Tonga game spoilt by that irritating band and obviously Jonathan Davies.
Mute on.
