Because he's pi$$ed off at not having a gig next season? In any case I didn't say that he was lying, but he many not necessarily be telling the whole story either. He was employed on a 1 season contract so unless he was given a reason to believe it would be extended why would he be surprised at receiving written confirmation? Maybe he had a face-to-face meeting and just hasn't mentioned it? There are any number of possible scenarios not excluded by his tweet but everyone seems to have jumped to the worst one.
