Indeed, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is exactly what Hull FC are thinking when making this decision. Not beyond the realms of possibility that they were just a little short of been able to make a deal with a player and this has given them the leverage they need.

played all his games at either fb or wing so far for wakey,but if he plays centre too,then that's even better.

agreed..as i stated, salary cap pressure and the oppotunity for him to develop in the nrl was the reasons he went to oz...im sure he'd have been back at leeds had fc not had a bid accepted...

I'm have my reservations about Agar, and I'm the first to pipe up when people say poor performance on the field is nothing to do with the coach, but to put any blame on him for Tansey behavior is just plain daft. Agar tried to manage him with the previous disaplinarys, now he has had to write him off and in doing so has sent a clear message to everybody else.

I think your spot on, from what I have heard tansey was on around 60K and berro about 130 ish!
