This seasons form was good from him till injury, its his previous form and his injuries that are a worry.
Not rated highly enough by Wigan, obviously.

19862_1323383936.jpg This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. [color=#80BF40:1y1okols]Neil is Cabbageman[/color:1y1okols]. Ever alert for the call no injury too small!

I'm sorry mate but are you kidding? One of best prospects in the NRL scored 14 tries in 22 games off limited game time, he wouldn't come cheap and is contracted to 2012 anyway and I'd expect him to fighting for the number 6 jersey with ben Roberts.

but if he has someone like ben roberts infront of him then a certain starting spot with us could tempt him just a suggestion

yeh I see what your saying, I just can't see it not at such a young age with plenty of time to improve and establish himself in first grade with all the potential he has, I wasn't criticising your opinion/suggestion

Quote: Rupert Pupkin "You think anyone who is mentioned or linked with FC is suddenly better than they actually are!
Every game on Sky and I think I have missed one Wigan game home and away since he signed for them, so a fair few games I would have thought.
Ask them what they thought of him in his first season at the club?'"
Ask Wigan fans what they thought of Pat Richards in his first season (the year they very nearly released him to Hull) or Warrington fans what they thought of Matt King in his first year?
When I first heard this I was against it, but after reading the thoughts of the Wigan (the fans that see him far more than you and me) fans who wanted to keep him and looking at his stats from the last 2 seasons www.superleague.co.uk/statistics ... eason=2010 I changed my mine and would have him for a year, to play 1 or 6.
Last year he had injury probelms but played 20 games the year before.
He would be a Blake Green type signing.

He's just signed a two year deal.
Full back next season.

The difference is we can form a opinion about Phelps as we've seen him play.
