Good to get a win, and some great efforts from some knackered players, but let's not kid ourselves both sides were poor and made loads of errors and a better side would have wiped the floor with either side. That try after the hooter before halftime shows how dumb our rugby is at times, all we had to do was kick it dead or invite a tackle and go dead on the floor!

Dominated the full 80 and once our attack clicked after our lucky try we looked very good, Sneyd, Pryce and rankin linked very well.

They scored two lucky try's, one shouldn't have counted though, we lost three players through injury and had a man sin binned.

Two points for me,

I think we looked better without Westerman, I think we maybe had two many pivots and too much goes through him.

Seb Taia, is the best backrower is SL.

I wouldn't say Hull were poor and we've not been 'floor wiped' many times over the last couple of years.

Some nice spells of play tonight but some brain farts too.

The win was key tonight, margin not too important.

On Taia, completely agree. Strength, pace, step/fend, vision and great hair. Perfect.

Totally agree three of there scores should never have given every time they lost the ball we got penalised for it but we toughed it out with all the players getting knocks so over all a hard earned rresult.

If we'd made the mistakes we did against Leeds, Saints or Wire or even some of then mid placed teams on their day we wouldent have got the ball back. Fortunately Catalan coughed up as much possession as we did.

How do you know, do you have some kind of power that's says if we played another team tonight, they wouldn't have dropped the ball, do Leeds, warrington not drop the ball, can they not have off days.

Let's give hull some credit, we played well showed good structure, we never looked like losing against a team tipped to do very well and that's we injuries to two if our best players.

Catalan lost Carney, and Escare only came back on due to other injuries. So it was even in the key players missing stakes.

As I have said I am happy to get said win, any win, but I still didn't see much to suggest we're headed for the top 8.

I thought we showed good signs, very dominate and good link up play with our pivots, nobody has said we are heading for the top 8. Need to back this up with a win next week.

We were still clueless first 20 mins ball in hand in their 20.Once the confidence kicked in only one team in it.
Sneyd the big difference tonight for me.like Pryce took the ball to the line and created some space.
If we are going to be short on forwards next week id push Yeaman into the second row and play Logan as we need some pace at left centre.
A good centre and Talanoa would be a leading try scorer.
What do we do with Rankin as his is too good to leave out.

Mixed bag for me. We looked clueless with ball in hand again early on and our defence was sloppy at times but with a bit more composure we could have had another 2 or 3 tries so some positive signs. Backs still too slow and not enough quality props. Agree we looked better without westerman.

Kick chase wasn't great at times - we put in some good bombs which weren;t contested well enough for me and there was a complete lack of pressure on the catlans kicker for the whole game. les cats are pretty gash and really only fed off our mistakes other than their well worked first try

HOUSE!

We were playing stupid cliche bingo, weren't we? I mean, that's the only explanation that makes sense given that you won't be able to quote one single poster who has expressed happiness regarding our season so far.
