no matter how bad radford is at coaching, i would never want my team to lose! Pearson saw what we all saw today, a stop start fc peformance against the poorest team in the comp for a many of seasons and will hopefully act on it, probably at the end of the season
i certainly aren't getting carried away with the win, too many mistakes and we were awful for 15-20 minutes after moore got sent off
good peformances by yeamo, (looking after his winger), lancaster, shaul and even crooks had a good game, feka and paea did well, rankin and miller still not clicking and that was against cannon fodder!

But he wouldn't be shown the door get real its all about finishing in the top 12 this year now! We won god garn it, I would have taken 50 points myself before we started wouldn't you? I guess obviously not, maybe you expected more this season and I have to say, I might have agreed with you and probably would at the end of the season but can I just ask who is available and who do you suggest we bring in?? For the greater good? Well we would be in total disarray were we to have brought in another Coach at this point in the season. This year we need to be in the top 12 that's all we have to achieve at first and I honestly can't see another coach coming in and doing much better at this juncture can you, so please tell me who you would appoint! he isn't ideal I agree but for me Radford has to stay we battle on and we look again at getting someone else in at the end of the season!

Well said Wilf. However much I'm against the coach (whoever that may be) I never, ever want to see my team lose and nor should any supporter.

| Quote: wudmansir "So WHO would you like to take over the coaching and ownership of the club cos I can't see a queue of people wanting too!!!'"
Ownership yes I see your point because Hull FC are patently not worth what Pearson has already invested. He simply can't get his money back and I think he is slowly realising he is in negative equity where Hull FC are concerned.
What to do? Keep financing year on year debts or sell at a loss? Nobody wants to buy anyway so it's a rock and a hard place.
As for the coaching position that is a totally different matter.
In 2015 with only 28 head coach jobs in the whole world there has to be many more than 28 people in the whole world who could do a good job.
There's simply no need to give a local lad with attitude the job like there's no one in the whole world capable.
I GUARANTEE that if the Hull FC coaching job was advertised and interviewed properly there would be a whole host of quality applicants.
Why wouldn't there be? There's only 20 odd people in the whole world currently contracted and employed for next year as head coaches and you've a reputation as underachievers who pay top dollar. What an opportunity... there's a pack of quality people unemployed desperate for a chance.
Or you could stick with a guy who isn't the brightest, has no CV but who will wear his heart on his sleeve.
Wanna be a top club? You already are. One of the top 28 in the world in fact. Radford one of the top 28 coaches in the world? You know the answer to that one.

haha..you're just a Radford ass licker.you've done nothing but come out with twaddle regarding him..he hasn't even had the bottle to bugger off like he said he would.
I'm entitled to my opinion and Radford (with a hefty dose of Pearson ineptitude) has brought the club virtually to its knees. The fans are pee'd off and deciding not to attend matches, the players are performing hugely under par for the most part and results are incredibly poor...the game today was equally average, one or two performances aside.
Again, for the greater good of the club Radford needs to be gone & if that meant losing today to get that closer then as a fan of 35 years I'm entitled to say that..You on the other hand don't even..sorry aren't capable of a reasoned response..jog on

Brought the club to its knees?
We have lost a few games ffs. I'd like to see your reaction if we were in Bradford or London's position. Those are clubs that are genuinely on their knees. We are just playing mediocre rugby. Something needs to happen to address it, but your reaction is over the top to say the least.

| I see the point knockersbump is trying to make in that he'd rather take a painful hit now for the greater good of the club if it meant a replacement coach.
We are not on our knees like Bradford or London but if we were but had a decent coach with a team at least showing commitment and enthusiasm I think a lot more fans wouldn't mind the continual losing.
I could only listen to the game yesterday due to work commitments and although we won it didn't sound as spectacular as the scoreline suggested.
So a win against London changes nothing or settles the unrest. It'll be how we back up in our next game that we will see if there's an improvement or not.
Currently as a club I think we are stagnating and it pains me and so if a change of coach injects a shot of enthusiasm and stability into the club it can't come soon enough for me if there's no signs of improvement.

What a good post, and absolutely bob on! I would never want us to lose either, but I do agree with some of the things knockers is saying to. We carry on down this road, Pearson losses more money, and is fans carry on watching a load of rubbish! I'm waiting for wilfs response to the cracking post by bob

| Ellis dragged you back into the match IMO yesterday, first 10/15 mins we were on top and keeping you pinned in but he was making 15+ meters with every carry.
It seems to the general consensus but your halves were poor, Rankin played more like a centre and Miller just tips it on or tries a step which didn't work. He was smashed the one time he ran at the line and passed late and I don't think he did it again!
But a (fair I think) sending off and a 15-5 penalty count in your favour and several of your fans were moaning at the ref. Good turnout though!
