| Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but on the Salford forum it looks like their fans are asking for Noble. One poster mentioned an interview with Noble on GMR where he said he wants to get back into coaching, has had offers from union but wants to say in league and join a club with big ambitions but who are under achieving. Noble has to be an improvement on what we have but would the board pay? I think not so the 'big ambition' part of Noble's interview would put us out of the running.

Noble would be a good fit for Salford, but I think Hull should have more ambition than that. He can get poor clubs (Wigan in 2006, Crusaders last year) up to mid table, but that's as far as his ability goes. You should be aiming higher, IMO. That playing squad is good enough (on paper) for a top 4 finish, just as ours was in '08 & '09).

I value your opinion, but we've learnt to dial down our expectations on coaching appointments - Kath said we'd be "delighted" with Kear's replacement, but didn't bank on the fact that most of us had never heard of him. Noble is the best we can realistically hope for, but deep down we suspect the short list would be:
McNamara
Webster
Last
Karl Harrison
I'm sure these were also in Lenegan and Moran's thoughts when they were last in the market. Not.

Didnt Hollywood say that Dymock is highly rated by many in Aus.

Dymock and Price would probably have clauses within their contract to allow them to leave if a First team opportunity can along.

If the club get rid of Agar, only for him to be replaced by any of the above, that would be it for this FC fan!!

| I have stated in the AGAR OUT/IN/FOR KING /FOR QUEEN THREAD he is only part of the problem, quality coaches will not come to FC under the present regime.
Try talking to Bomber, John Kear, Peter Sharpe, Jon Sharp, the assistant from last year (I forget his name )and I could add a list of Physio's, conditioners, u16/u18/u21 coaches countless back room staff in the last five years or so.

Not true, Karl (apparently we can call you by name ). The question was; what is the name of Hull FC's head coach followed by the French word for "the"

Dennis Moore. I'd forgotten about him. Is he busy at the mo?
