rlAus v NZ teamsrl
One thing you can deduce from that is Lockyer and JT will be kicking to the wings on last tackle plays. Folau on one side and Inglis/Monaghan on the other is pretty much as good as it gets in that department.

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

All teams should do with Manu Vatuvei on the wing, he is very good going forward but is prone to lots of mistakes.
Looking at the two teams I can see the Aussies winning easy.
I will also be very disapointted if we dont beat NZ when we look at both teams. |

The bad thing is when he catches it he'll go 30 yards 
I think the NZ team will surprise a few. Still think Australia will win but not as easy as some may think. |

Think this England side has a lot of blalnce and depth to be fair, we know we have the edge in the forrards and also now in the halfs, with that i cant see senior and gleeson letting us down so i think we have as good a chance as any
winner : England
runner up: Aus
3rd Tonga
4th : NZ
5th France
scotland and Ireland wont have either the depth or stamina to go 80 with any of the above im sad to say

Two NRL procedures will carry across to the World Cup, however. International rules do not provide for golden point time but it will be in force over the next month.
And the quick taps common in Super League will be outlawed, with all match officials required to be in position before play restarts from the 20m line.

Just wish they had taken Diskin to start, with Roby on the bench, dont like it when they put players at hooker who arent hookers, which they look like they will be doing with Mcguire. |

I still dont like it, his running from acting half will cause lots of problems, but he hasnt got good enough distribution skill from acting half to play hooker IMO.
It will work Ok against PNG, but worry when we play the Aussies or NZ.
Cant work out why they took Highan rather than Diskin. |

Horses for courses.
I would imagine after 25 minutes or so when the heat and pace of the game is telling bringing on reinforcements in the shape of Morley and Maurie with Burrow scooting left, right and centre the Papuans may struggle to contain us.
Would have preferred Purdham and the bench opposed to Wilkin but other then that it is a strong side. |
