| What really annoys me is the whole double standards and they shoudln't be allowed to act in this manner.
They should be made to answer many questions regarding their actions and the whole running of the KC stadium.
So we pay for pictures/memorabilia on MATCH DAYS only?
Who puts these up and takes them down?
If ours are up for MATCH DAYS only then they better be charging City the same going rate for ALL other days.
This is a community stadium that they have been given the remit of running. NOT OWNING.
If Adam so wishes could he pay and put pictures of Leeds Utd up on the walls? I'd be very tempted if i was him. LOL.
Come on Council. Grow some and get answers on the whole debacle.

| I know we aren't on TV, but surely something must be done at the Saints game on Friday? A full away end making a protest would certainly gain attention. Maybe JW masks at half time?

| When the council built the stadium, branding space was attributed to both Hull City and Hull FC in perpetuity and in equal measure, free of charge, and this has remained the case over the last ten years.
That in itself is what the club are arguing to maintain as the status quo.
As many have said on here the club can not comment publicly as they are bound by the terms of the agreement with the SMC.
Agreeing to pay any extra monies is agreeing to new terms of contract.
The Allams are paying lip service to the fact that the previous arrangement ever existed, and under the veil of commercial expediancy, mixed with with "you now have to pay for what you want "( or for what you've always had) they are trying to make a case for payment.
They are themselves trying to set a new precedent which if agreed to will always be up for renegotiation.(increase)
The Club have done absolutely the right thing in not agreeing to pay any extra fees for a "service" which has always been both transparent, acceptable and THERE.
The fans paying the fee MAYBE a way around this in that the Club does not have to pay. But we should tread with great care. The precedent is still being set and who then becomes the payee in the future. Benevolence and business do not mix well, certainly not in this case.
We as fans should stay strong for retaining the position that has been ours since we moved into to our shared home. We should wait for the final, final outcome of negotiations between, The City Planning Manager (for the Council) and the Allams. And we need to see the small print. only then can we make further plans to "mobilise" when we know the hand we and our club have been dealt.
However at some point Hull FC will make a public comment, which as you should expect, will sanitized appropriately to ensure no breaches of contract are made verbal or written. Before that statement The Club really needs the council to be its strongest and bravest ally right now, as do we.
And we the Fans , FC Voices, need to keep up the most intensive campaign of pressure on the council to ensure we are as one voice, and we should be undaunted and strong in calling for the original arrangement to be maintained for both tenants of the stadium. For clarity that is ; When the council built the stadium, branding space was attributed to both Hull City and Hull FC in perpetuity and in equal measure, free of charge, and this has remained the case over the last ten years.
NB. For sure the HDM do not appear to be that accurate in relaying things as they really are in connection with this situation, so we should take all their exclusives with largest pinch of salt imaginable.

| From a Wigan fan (Whos been keeping in touch with this thread since Sunday and has read all 76 pages so far).
Good luck guys with the fight
We've had our own issues over the years (And took some stick from other fans for it) and I know how much it means to you guys to have a Fair & level playing field when it comes to what essentially is your "Home".
I wouldn't put 1 penny in this guys hand
I know Whelan has been seen by some of our fans as "Petty" over certain issues in the past but IMO he hasnt come anywhere near to stooping as low as this!
We also have shared facilities/suites and the memorabilia is changed for each home game (By differing people) and maybe examples of other SMC's policies and how much they charge (I doubt any of them charge anything as I know Wigan don't) would help strengthen your cause.
If you need any more info on how it works at our club PM me as I am involved with the Gantry flags at the DW plus other things which are all done by the fans and/or the SMC for free (lets hope me highlighting this doesn't give anyone at our club any ideas! )
Good luck

| That being the case, then perhaps if the original status quo prevails, the Allams should then be presented with a compensation bill for loss, and a cost for their pictures being in our branding space.

| It needs to go 'League wide' if it already hasn't. I emailed all the press on Monday and have done so with the councillors and council leaders today, my councillor has told me that although she cannot help personally but the other 'top dogs' are still on the case now.

| The campaign can be stepped up by asking scrutiny councillors to call in the allams over the lack of profit since they took over. This is a public grilling with the press present. Contact councillor Tom mcvie.

| Got my ticket for St Helens from the Hull shop at the stadium, when i came out Look North were outside the door waiting. The reporter was Simon somebody who i have seen before on the TV. I asked what the story was and he said that they were trying to get a interveiw from i assume AP. I told him he should be interveiwing the Hull fans about it. I have not seen anything on the TV yet and i imagin the exposure of tv on this issue would be one of our biggest weapons.
