As a club FC can access the type of help Tansey needs, I'd imagine the problem is that he doesn't want the help, in order to change an individual has to want to.
And I have no doubt Ogre said he's a talented kid, but I am fairly sure he'll have continued along the vein "shame he's a total pr1ck"
He isn't a nice kid, his behaviour precludes that being the case, if he was a decent kid then he'd have learnt his lessons and would really appreciate the opportunities and luxuries his employment affords him.
Maybe in 6 months time when he's getting up at 5am to go and do some low paid manual job he'll learn his lesson.

not being argumentative but sometimes you have to have a wider less judgmental view when dealing with sportsmen who have the X factor because they do not come along many times

You did realise you have just made a huge contradiction there don't you? Chase is very inconsistent, he can be brilliant but can be invisible too.

It's obviously had a profound effect on him given that he was spotted out at the weekend in leeds out of his head again

I confused myself as to what warning he is on now
Like yourself I will back the club.

Problem is it wouldnt just be one game its the fact that Agar and coaching team will always have to second guess just incase he does it again no doubt when.
He has had enough chances and reports of him out in Leeds again this weekend show he aint gonna change, jeez he's had 12 months to sort it.
Ok we may be left short but we know what we are facing rather than wondering with Tansety back in the ranks. For all his attacking ability it for me is far out weighed by his lack of professional ability off the field and in Whiting we have a player who will do whatever it takes for the good of the club and I think would prove to be a good Fb given a run at the role. He may not have the pace of Tansey but he has a very good rugby brain and is at least able to attempt to take the ball on the full instead of letting it bounce.
Tansey for me has shown and complete lack of respect for the club, board, players and fans and should be told he is no longer wanted and shown the door anything other just gives the green light for players to do as they like.

If i had the sort of cash to sponsor him i would be spending more to help him without a doubt !!
but because i care for the lad as a pro it does not mean i condone his issues either as i certainly do not ...

Maybe I have, but Chase is not as inconsistent as Tansey imo , Chase can and does rip teams apart with his play. Tansey has set up and scored some good tries but he has not ripped teams apart.
Tnasey looks good in a team with very few creative players on the pitch..Let us not forget Leeds got rid if he had that much potential they would have kept him.

I cannot comment on rumours that are written to back up an argument but if this was the case let me put it to you this way..
if an AC or addict loses his job does that change the habit???
No the only way is to get help but the monsters that drag you to drink keep you away from that ...
There also has to be said his circle of friends has always been in question as well and they clearly do not care for him either or they would be advising and helping
but obviously as someone says he was in leeds out of his head at the weekend it must be true!!

I myself was cabbaged at the weekend at a wedding with some of the lads as were i am sure many in rugby league, however i have never been to AA but a close member of my family did go to AA and with help from the family they broke the habit of binge drinking that they could not do alone, does that answer your question ??
