What would you know?. The halfbacks are better than what we already have and you of all people should be keeping a low profile on here and keeping it shut after the way we dismantled your team on your plastic pitch the other week.

They get all uppity when you mention their Subbuteo turf. Don't upset the Chemical Brothers.

| I like the Sneyd signing, been excellent this season, just needs to carry on this seasons form into next.
The Pryce signing I don't understand, a lot seem impressed with Rankin and believe he will improve with an out and out 7 around him, well you have that now with Sneyd.

The team is very young looking. Pryce with his know how and experience is exactly what we need. As radford says his experience will be good off field too. His stats are massivly impressive including try assists which is also impressive given how terrible they were for first 10ish rounds!

| Don't particularly agree with needing the experience of Pryce, not the player he was3/4/5 years ago regarding what the stats say. Yes he can influence a game by himself but those days are now far and few between. I think he will be over the moon with a two year contract at this stage of his career.
I think Rankin and Sneyd would have been the way forward.

| Pryce looked huge watching the highlights of Cats this weekend. (don't know if it was my imagination)
I know he's always been a gangly so and so but he looked a right sized unit.

I agree to a point, a one year deal would have been ideal IMO, his form this year has been excellent and he is certainly an upgrade on Horne IMO, Rankin still needs to be more consistent and havibg Pryce means good competition for places.
The future for Hull IMO is HWT, Abdul and Sneyd.

| Is Rankin going to get the time on the field to become more consistent now with Pryce at the club? Surely a waste of an overseas spot on a player getting no game time?
Like a lot of imports, I would expect an improvement from Rankin in his second season and for me that's why I see the Pryce signing as not needed.

Surely it's only a waste of an overseas spot if we need it for somewhere else? Unless I've missed someone, we only have 5 overseas players signed up for next year, with one of those looking increasingly likely to be on his way out, so we've still got space if we need it.
I know it's possibly an alien concept to the Rovers indoctrination ( ), but you don't HAVE to use every possible overseas spot and loophole to fill your first 17.

| Just a small point but if weve paid a fee for Sneyd then how come we haven't got him this season?

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

because we've paid to get him out of the last year of his contract?

| And it'll be stipulated in his loan deal that he can't be sold, plus his wage probably wouldn't fit in to our cap.

| Rankin is cover for Shaul and for Pryce. I'd love him to stay. He's passionate and really gets stuck in.
Pryce can also play FB effectively.
HTW and Abdull will learn more from Pryce than Horne.

I agree, I hope Rankin stays. As you say he is very enthusiastic, plus he knows where the tryline is - ten tries in sixteen games so far.
