Just watched the the Leeds game and am feeling quite optimistic.

Cats should have won but looked unfit and struggled in the last 20 with fitness
Leeds offer no threat up front but can defend there line
Maquire should have been sent off and will not play again this year
Although on a personal level (I know him) i cant stand Sinfield, he is class, the way he chased 60m just to save 5m on a kick impressed me. He is a knob however but ????????

well he did play for wigan didn't he

Putting to one side the total nonsense that Phil Clarke was spouting last night, I reckon the play-off picture now looks something like the following:

Wigan v Hull/Leeds

Saints v Wire/Leeds

If we win tonight, it is 99.9% certain that we will be heading to the piedome next week.

Clarke wasn't having that.
He was convinced that Wigan would select Leeds over us if we can do the business tonight.

He certainly seemed pretty sure of himself didn't he.
I'm not sure in what world Wigan would feel compelled to choose Leeds (with their play-off record) over ourselves (with our dreadful record at the piedome).

Wigan will do what every other club has done so far when faced with this clubcall fiasco, simply choose the lowest ranking side available, which will be us .

The way it came across to me was that PC was just assuming that it would be a choice between Warrington and Leeds, don't think it crossed his mind that we would still be involved. Taking the black and white specs off I don't see any reason why Wigan would choose to play Leeds rather than us

If we beat Wire and look comfortable, Wigan may gamble on the fact that McGuire is 95% certain to face a suspension and that Leeds have had to fly to France and back. They wont know for definate though.
