| Of those coaches available in the SL atm, I reckon that Morgan probably has the most potential, and wouldnt be too disappointed with him as a coach,
He has done a great job with rovers, with limited funds/facilities, and the worst boss imaginable

I dont think any Coach in the World could of got a result with that squad to be fair.
Forget what has happened this season at KR, it stopped being within his control a long time ago mate.

Smith I dont think would want to come back, would be a decent pull if you could get him.
I am not sure the club needs a Coach to come in and try and win things. They need someone to come in and change the whole outlook and build for winning things in three years time with a young hungry squad that can play on for years. Just my thoughts, many others will want instant success.'"
Totally agree.
I would like somebody to change our style of play totally in attack & defence and a killer instinct, same as Maguire and Brown did, in one pre-season.
The main thing, is the youth, bringing them through to first grade.

| Quote: weaver93 "Why would Bennett leave a team packed full of internationals, and move his family from Brisbane to Sydney to coach the Dragons?
Then after winning the Grand Final, with the Dragons,
Why move to the Knights, who their new owner is, one of the richest guys in Australia?'"
IMO Bennett is challenging himself. Obviously he did great things at Brisbane, but rather than rest on his laurels he wanted to prove he could do it elsewhere too. He picked a team who were starting to become a running joke and ended their choker reputation with the win last year, now he's done that he's moving on again. He's gone to one of the teams with the longest runs without a grand final appearance, so I think it's about testing himself as much as the money. He could go almost anywhere and command big wages, but I think he seems to choose clubs with targets to achieve in mind.

| Hudgell going to Aus shortly to get a coach, apparently. Hope we're not at the back of the queue through dithering with all the teams in the market.

Maybe we should sack agar and appoint someone on an interim basis while we find the right man

Rumour is they want another Mcguire, young hungry Aussie who will give them a fresh outlook. Good luck to em.
Anthony Siebold was my prediction some time ago, wonder if he will be in the search bracket

If i were Adam Pearson or Neil Hudgell i would be wanting to speak to Siebold about their coaching job. Still young, ambitious, intelligent, liked and respected by pretty much everybody, served his apprentiship in the lower leagues and as a bonus knows the area well so coming to our "goldfish bowl" wouldnt faze him.

I am led to believe he is on Rovers radar.
He wont want a huge fee either, he will want to prove himself.

Sounds like a description of Rich Agar.......
........ It's just his coaching isn't up to it. What makes Siebold any different?

| Am i the only 1 who couldnt give a flying one who Rovers,Wakey,Wigan and Cas get as their coaches as long as we get ours right if Mr Numpty does go.We should go all out for the calibre of Anderson,Foulkes,Taylor,Dymock....give them full control and build this club back up to where we should be.

| Stephen Kearney for me, should pull out all stops to get him.To my mind one of our failings under Agar has been our lack of fitness over 80 minutes something he never lacked whenever I saw him play.
