I would be happy with Burnett & Washbrook going out on loan for a season. Can't see washy getting hardly any game time and a halfback would easily still be a priority, even if we signed Monaghan i think we are still desperately in need some half back cover for 2011.

It would take the pi$$ if you were a Cas supporter but I would also pay a transfer fee for Richard Owen. perhaps a swap deal for Washy/Burnett and then we could keep tansey for HB cover. after him then my second choice would be Sammut

me too - of course with a bit more fine tuning & experience in that position then I think he will improve, particularly in cutting down on silly errors. he has got alot of talent no doubt

like i said in my previous post I would like us to sign a HB but failing that, sign a FB and tansey could be fairly decent cover for the halves

I honestly think most of his errors are because he's trying too hard to impress. Then once he makes more errors, he has more pressure to impress, and so the cycle continues. The best thing he can do to help himself is start well from the off and relieve himself of any pressure.

He will learn to cope with pressure with experience.

If we free up cap space and sign anyone but a half back that shows Agar as clueless. Westerman isn't the answer and on his showing last year neither is Tansey, he is our fullback and the club keep telling us that.

Phelps is a very useful player indeed and looked a world beater recently however he has been unlucky with injuries but then all players go through that at some point dont they or are ogre, whiting etc useless too.

Useful player on his day with a point to prove but would only have him on pay as you play.

I really can't see us releasing Berro unless we have an excellent HB lined up to sign with the spare cap space. Why would he come off quota only to decide to go home?! it doesn't make sense and if you ask me it's just a case of bored fans & reporters in the off-season

i wouldn't be surprised if we have a little bit of space left on the cap and we are trying to free some more up with loaning out Burnett and seeing who else we can sign i.e. Sammut or Rovelli...but no takers as of yet...
