Presmumably we are give we have had a number of trialists from union in recent seasons, such as the young Welsh lad and the centre who scored four tries on his Academy debut.

What i meant was having a full paid member of staff who obviously has a rugby background and his job is to watch games in Rugby league to identify potential in players from lower divisions and also Rugby union

We've definitely seemed more proactive in poaching players outside of the Hull area more recently. Staveley, Balmforth, and Wainehouse are all from 'outside'

We had a young lad from Torfaen Tigers, Jermarie Chatham, who I think ended up playing for Cornwall. Also there was Guy Armitage from darn sarf who I believe is now at Toulouse.

In terms of scouting there's certainly work going on in Cumbria to spot upcoming talent.

I could't name you any scout from any other club but it doesn't mean that they don't exist.

Imo catalan are great for the game get great home crowds and hopefully will get stronger with toulouse rivalry should they get promoted

But 3,000 isn't that great imo given its only across France and a few hours from Dover can basically drive it

Not like its otherside of Europe and need to get flight after flight !

Then you have the journey from Dover to Manchester
Do you know where Perpignan is and are not mistaking it with another French city?
