| My only hope is that our starting 17 next season only included Martin, Barron, Ese Ese, Ashworth, Aydin and maybe Balmforth.

| Another battling defeat. Far too soft defensively in the first half took the game away from us.
Played with a 2 man bench again for 3/4s of the game which doesn't help.
The Catalans game can't come soon enough.

| Thought this would happen, Cas are a poor team and any half decent team beats them.
Shame Grix is hanging around for another year.

| Role on the last game let's get this season over and done with and keep our heads down as far as the East is concerned!! Then lets see what the club do to enthuse us all again????? Cas were poor but poor performance again from us, dumb rugby, wrong options with the ball and that defence at times was woeful.
"Mark and Tackle mark and tackle...... follow the ball and not the man!" : Mr Cameron Chilton Street School circa 1959! We all listened or got the belt, seems as if some of our lot never have!

| Sorry to single players out but Moy is too small and Charles is never gonna make it as a top scrum half, there wasnt even a tiny glimpse of anything from him that makes it look like he could be. The loan players were both gash, Briscoe looks finished. What happened to Sao and Houghton?

| Quote: Dave K. "Thought Balmforth did well but he isn't a 70 minute hooker, Moy has work to do, particularly his link up play, seems to catch before drawing a man.
Charles is no where near ready, Grix should have taken him out of this game.
Also played Aydin too many minutes, starting to miss tackles then sin bin, hardly played Ashworth (unless injured), Sao must have been injured too.
Crazy how many injuries we get every game.
Id try and sign Eseh and release Sao.
Wingers were great, need to use them more with their speed and height.
Id rather have Laidlaw than Gardiner'"
I’d agree with most of that
Think Ashworth went off shortly after an attempted tackle he made and caught one from Horne.

| Houghton calf, Ashworth back, Sao HIA and Lane calf.
Wonder how many we'll get back for next week, none knowing our luck.
What a miserable, miserable year.

| Dire yet again.
The decision to go for a barge over rather than spread it wide with a two man advantage pretty much summed up our season. Totally clueless in attack.
I have to agree with the comments about Charles and Moy. I hope they go on to have good careers but they are nowhere near ready to be regulars. It's unfair on them to be playing every week. Moy's neat break at the start but then losing the ball in the tackle set the scene unfortunately.
I've no interest in hearing Grix's comments as it'll be the same bull we hear every week delivered in his slightly smirky matter-of-fact way.
Well done to Tex Hoy. He's gone really well at Cas and is clearly enjoying his rugby after Tony Smith shattered his confidence.

| I can kind of forgive the attack as after 10 mins our spine was made up of a hooker at 7 and three teenagers. What I can't forgive is the lazy, disinterested, half d defending.
I'd love to know what they do all week in training because practicing rugby league clearly isn't one of them. Felt sorry for Herman he was yet again the best forward on the pitch but has to deal with crap around him.

Sorting out the Strength and Conditioning is absolutely vital for next year. Little wonder we look so unfit and suffer so many injuries with the current set up. Our Head of Strength and Conditioning used to be the Sports Scientist. Now I may be wrong but surely they are completely different things.

| Noticed before kickoff how half hearted our warm up was, and no surprise we then started the game on the back foot.
Loosing so many players during the game of course didn't help and aI thought the ref was terrible and spoilt the game for both sides.
Add in our weakness in the halves (not knocking Charles because he is learning but he was caught out today) and no surprise it was another defeat.

That and 2 new assistant coaches, Grix should be no where near this team next year

| Really soft underbelly in defence, we were cut open way to easy. Still poor decision making and errors are proving too costly in energy and scoreboard.

Probably our most important signing next season for me. We need most of the new signings to be playing to be competitive in all the games.
