I see a lot saying move Hoy but why when we don’t have to. Let him find some consistency and gel in his preferred position.
I’d like to see Litten rewarded with a spot on the bench and Salford would be a good game for him but with so many missing I don’t think it’s wise. For me he’s should be second choice full back at the minute. Great preseason & had some game time Vs shaul who’s sadly been out injured. Litten also needs chance to build some experience.
Wonder about Cator in the back row If fit. I’d prefer Sao there but carrying Savelio and Sao in starting back row shirts might be a risk right now.'"
Lane should be behind Sao, savelio, Griffin
Sao played for samoa at world cup as a 2nd row
Why aren't we doing the same ?
Cator too small for 2nd row think he's too small for 13 aswell in the long run for super league
Think hooker will end up been cators position

As mentioned previously, really think the right edge needs bolstering, id still have Sao in for Lane, moving Griffin into the Centres.
Wouldn't be shocked to see a curveball from Smith, such as Litten on the bench to give us some options in the backs.'"
I’d tend agree with this side but maybe have Satae/Evans the other way around.

Minimal positional changes with Griffin slotting in centre Lovodua covering H/B , Probably switch it around a bit when Houghton comes on .

The Curveball may be a good option as it would allow McIntosh to move to centre and Litten onto the wing in case we need to move Griffin back into the second row if Savelio needs rotating
Not a McIntosh fan but he did OK when playing in the centre

| Think we'll put Griffin up against Lafai.
We should send as much traffic as we can against Cross. Sky have highlighted it, he likes to jam in, so e could have some joy.
Longstaff, as much as I like him, was all over the place defensively against Wire. Another one to throw traffic at if he starts.
Salford are a dangerous side. Hope it doesn't click for them on Saturday

I would still back Longstaff to score at least one try against us on Saturday.
Has a real ability to get on the end of kicks into the in goal

It's written in the stars isn't it. I'd certainly have him in our side over Lane who unfortunately hasn't really clicked on over the last eighteen months.
I'd agree with HU8HFC's line up for tomorrow's game. Griffin will do a job in the centre for a week or two if required and works well with Swift,

| Not Salford related but thought Manu Ma'u was excellent last night.
Just shows the difference playing under a good coach who also played him on the right just as he did for Paramatta.
Still wish we had kept him.

The thing is Catalans were willing to give him a two year deal. Maybe he just wanted to live in the South of France with his family for a couple of years before retirement, quite a nice sounding prospect.
Also, of course, if he had stayed at Hull we wouldn't have signed Clifford and this weekend would be looking at a possible Lovodua/Houghton half back partnership.

| Don't think anyone ever doubted Manus quality.
For me it was the amount of time he spent off the field. Missed too many games with niggling injuries.

| Thought some of the stick he got here was unjustified, it's a shame we lost him, but when you get offered a two year deal and a chance to retire in the south of france, its was a bit of a no brainer for him and his family.
