he is not going to risk that by playing a rookie at 6.
Griffin is fit and although most of us would like to see Connor at full back he will go with Griffin and Connor at 6.
I see no changes on the bench .
If things are not going well then he may change things round and put Connor back to full back with Houghton as 6.'"
Or he plays mcnamara and we win, and he takes all the plaudits for having faith in our youngsters, and coming from the youth team set up for years, why wouldn’t he, I can see both arguments to be fair, but I’d rather start with mac

I would definitely give Last credit for having the balls to play Mac and leaving Connor at full back but he wont

| If Jones is fully fit and focused Last has got to consider him for selection. At present he is a Hull player. What difference does it make if he is likely to be leaving at the end of the season. So is Ratu. Lots of players sign for other clubs during the season especially so in the NRL.
You don't penalise the player or weaken the team because you are not happy he is leaving.
If he plays it should be on merit nothing else.

Just listened to an Interview from Last when he was asked if a fit again Josh Griffin will play full back.
He obviously avoided giving an answer but then said there may be a surprise there but we will keep Warrington guessing.
Does that mean Mac will play and we keep Connor at full back?
Thats gutsy if he does

I don't think its gutsy as (imho) we have played some of our best rugby with Connor at fb and Mac at 6.
+ We have room to shuffle about a bit if things are not working

| Explain to me how Jones can be fully fit after pretty much the full season out, you don't just throw players into games like this after that long out.
We saw how much Taylor huffed and puffed on his first game back after a lot less time out.
The intensity In this game will be huge, stop being frigging daft.

How are we weakening the team by not playing Jones? Ratu on the other hand is pretty obvious

Of course he does, he's a Dream Team and international player and we have other players in the pack like Savelio and Ma'u who can play long minutes.

| It’s a mighty fine conundrum we have, and not forgetting JJ can also fill in at centre.

Please carefully read my post again note that I said "if" fully fit. A very important distinction to "is". You've utterly lost my point. However I do like the phrase frigging daft. My old man used to use it frequently. More polite than using the other F word.

I didn't say we are. I was making the point (unsuccessfully) leaving him out because he is probably going is not a reason not select him.
