Looking at the Wigan board and their predicted team, I think one thing that's for sure is that they aren't going to have anything like the size in their pack that Saints had.

Even if we end up with worst case scenario injury wise, our starting pack is pretty imposing (Taylor, Sao, Jones, Griffin, Ellis). If we can start strongly and lay a good early platform then we might be able to ride out the periods where the bench players are on the field. Radford needs to be smarter about how he uses his subs though. We could really do with a little bit of good news injury wise. Even if just Faraimo and Savelio are back that would make a big difference.

Agreed, Faraimo and Savelio back would be big boosts, we also need a much improved kicking game. Wigan starts as favourtites I think but we have a fair chance.

It's a long season and Kelly will hopefully play a big part.

Given that he hadn't played a first team game at that point he was hardly match fit, and one game (or part of) and then two games off, would hardly do anything to remedy that.
