It was a massive victory against all odds both on the game and indeed before it. There's a claim kicking around from some that they "praise and criticise in equal measure". The reality is some are all over this board like a rash following a defeat, but virtually silent after a win other than to make a token acknowledgement of the 2 points and deflect immediately onto the possibility of future losses. It's a baffling mentality. We've just won away at the 2nd placed side despite us having a raft of injuries. The media in attendance tweeting: "Outstanding defensive display from Hull. Won't see many better anywhere this season. Terrific effort." In that context praise commensurate with that win should see huge commendation, post after post to match the bashing after a defeat. But it doesn't. As I said, baffling.
Anyway back to the game. Sounds like Ratu Naulago had another stormer, with Kelly "unplayable" at times. Hopefully a few of Tuimavave, Fariamo, Houghton, Bowden, Manu, Savelio, Lane, Litten etc back and Taylor not concussed.
