Wouldnt mind Taai or Ikahihifo in our team. They busted us up the middle
I think we all know now Carlos is not a half back.Your right Radford should have switched or even started Connor at half back'"
It wasn't difficult to bust through the middle as the defence and attempts to tackle were pretty & poor embarrassing.
Just poor all round and need to move on.

| Trains from Manchester were in a mess last night so didn't make it to the game, sounds like I didn't miss much from an FC perspective, not playing Connor and Sneyd as the starting halves is baffling, but Lee knows what he's doing. It might work in our favour, (the defeat), who knows, we'll find out a week and 15 hours from now.
Put it down as a bad day at the office and a good performance by Huddersfield, even if they "only" took advantage of our mistakes.what we can't do, MUSTN'T do, is get thrashed at Wembley, if only because I couldn't stand the smug Clarke and other pundits on the roundup programmes afterwards.

| Such a shame that in Gaz's first game after publicly announcing his retirement and in his 450th super league match his team mates could not find half the level of enthusiasm of Gaz and turn out a decent performance for their mate and captain.
Gaz, Wattsy, Griffin and Connor aside there wasn't 1 player who covered themselves in glory last night.
As well as Hudds played and they didn't need to be world beaters to win, our defence was too soft, lazy and easily broken and our attack stagnant until the last 10.
Hardly a fitting tribute to Gaz or send off for Wembley week.

A silver trophy raised above his head at 4-44ish-pm next Saturday afternoon at our national stadium is what matters.

| I was unable to make the game as I was on the way back from a holiday. From the texts and tweets I saw it sounded like another grim home performance which is a real cause for concern and has cost us a second place finish.
What a contrast to last year's pre Wembley fixture.

Were I was looking for a good team performance last night to solidify our assault on the gf and provide positive momentum leading into Wembley.

Correct.
League Weekly pundits called last night's crapness early and it was clear at half time it was a half d job. Need one of our rabbit out of a hat performances for the big one. Either way it's been a fabulous defence of the trophy so far. Remember 2006 - hideous.
This time next week we'll be heading to Wembley Way for the 3rd time in 5 years. Compared to most SL clubs that's a superb achievement. Let's hope we get a performance.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| Just as I suspected, last night was all a bad dream. Viking radio reported us winning 14-10 this morning.

| Bad night at the office, but we can just move on from it.
Most disapointing for me was that the fringe players (with the exception of Turgut who i felt got stuck in) didn't take the opportunity to stake a late claim for a Wembley spot.
I dont think the new look formation did any favours though, Fonua and Michaels in particular looked uneasy as a pairing and that has to be one of the shortest centre/wing pairings I can remember, yet we kept kicking high to their corner??

Turgut? I think you and I watched a different game. If by "got stuck in" you mean, headless chicken tackling (aka missed a fair few), poor handling and poor passing (including 15 minutes from time an awful attempt at a straightforward pass for Connor to be under the posts, would have brought us to a 10 point deficit with plenty of time to rescue the game) .
Then, yes he did get stuck in.
Turgut is one of the players I assume Radford referred to as making selection for the final easier.

Thought I was in the alps (wish I was tonight) every time I heard that ruddy cowbell. Rugby match not ski Sunday!!
As for us. Shocking. Some players looked uninterested and hudds got a sniff of that early on and took control
Positive tonight, I can wash my shirt for next week lol'"
