Agree on all points.

| I think Radford's hand has been forced a bit with Yeaman and not sure there are many other options, the only other option is to play one of the young halfs again, but I think after 3 defeats he is so desperate for a win, he is playing safe to get wins in the next two games.
Long term we need to start looking at the number 6 options, as if no one is ready of Carlos isn't good enough, we need to recruit badly in that area.

| A backward step has been playing two young, green centres who get found out every game now. Yeaman is a club legend who still has something to offer. I hope he scores a couple tonight and sticks two fingers up the haters

Yeaman was finished 5 seasons ago.
Name another SL side he'd get into.

His defence isn't actually all that great any more. Puts in the odd good hit but rushes and misses too often. Also gets run around due to his pedestrian pace.

In all fairness Kirk Yeaman although now at twilight of his career can do a job for us and for all his faults will shore up the leak in the defence.
The way that Logan, Tuimavave & Talanoa have defended has not been great and Radford needs to shake it up a little and I see no issue bringing Yeaman in when he will do a job. He is not the answer long term but in the short term he will definitely help.
Really don't see a problem with Yeaman coming in to the squad after the Widnes debacle.

I'd have had Naughton and Lancaster on the wing with Micheals and Logan at centre. At least we'd have some pace in the backs. Hell, I'd play Thompson at centre ahead of Yeaman.
But mainly I'd have spent some of the money we spent on forwards on our backs.

| With Easter approaching, our defensive lapses and the fact we are up against one of the weakest team (on paper), I have no real issue with Yeamans inclusion for this game.
The whole point of having a squad is to rotate / rest players ahead of a busy period.
Would have been nice to see Naughton or Lancaster given a chance though

To be fair you've been pretty good at recruiting badly in the area for quite a while now.

You are right, Miller was one of the worst, lucky we managed to move him onto club.

Agree with the Yeaman inclusion. Tuimavave in the past has been defensively exposed playing at centre. His favoured position is No6 and he will now get a chance to show his capabilities.
We will be too strong for both Wakefield and the Robins.
