It's too easy to absolve all the blame from the coaching set up though, Radford and his team DO have a direct hand in how the players behave/perform on field otherwise why even have a coach team right?
individuals make mistakes for many reasons, as a coach you have to address all the problems that seem to crop up time and time again, and for us those issues do keep cropping up.
fatigue -lack of fitness/too many minutes or not being spelled correctly/playing with injury
mental preparation/mental attitude, being able to focus during times of duress, not switching off, decision making, all things that the coaching team need to re-inforce and use strategies to reduce those actions/thoughts that act as negatives.
Basic Skills, simple yet critical aspects have being critisised by many on the forums relating to the players performance/ability to perform the basics.
Whilst players have to take responsibility for their actions/how they play, it's a collective responsibility, the inexperience/lack of understanding & the way the coaching team do things does has had an impact on why & how many errors we make, how we string together our play, that is reflective of the overall seasons performance. Inconsistant, ranging from sublime to the downright horrible and this match was another of those games that mirror that inconsistancy of the season .
