Feeling better now? Only hurting FC fans are saying that. We did not play all that well or as well as we can but we were not very poor. I know how you feel as I have had similar experiences oner the years.

"Leeds is the greatest club in Rugby League"
Alex Murphy 2011: |
|
| I don't know what the new overseas recruits thought about the atmosphere last night, but after all the hype, I think they may have been massively underwhelmed. The Rovers fans obviously made a racket, but 3/4 of the ground looked like they had been forced in at gunpoint. One half cock version of "old faithful" and very little else. It's not easy when your not playing well, but I don't think Hull fans are helping the team at the moment.

It's a two way street though. The fans need something to get behind

| I could write a list as long as my arm on things that we are doing wrong purely from an on field, technical PoV.
- We don't play close enough to the line, all our passing plays happen 5 yards+ away from the defensive line and it makes it easy for the defence to adjust.
- No one ever runs in a straight line and commits defenders, the first step is always sideways, it cuts down our space and prevents the defence from having to make any quick decisions.
- Support play is poor.
- Ptb speed is poor.
- There never seems to be a plan to the sets, it's just 5 random plays with seemingly no overall goal.
- We never target specific defenders.
- Our attacking kicks are largely aimless.
- Kicking for touch on penalties is unambitious.
- The attacking line is too flat, someone needs to come on the ball from deep and at pace, but because everything is so flat and sideways people are either catching the ball stood still, or catching it whilst running towards the sideline, so our penetration is nil.
- Dummy runners never run with any conviction, you've got to convince the defence that you're getting the ball, but ours just jog through often not even looking at the ball.
- Passing is slow.
- No one runs the team, it's every man for himself, and as a result you get kicks and passing coming in that no one was expecting other than the man who delivered it.
I could go on aswell, and I've not even mentioned attitude or commitment, or any of the more off field stuff like team selection and recruitment.
Pearson obviously isn't knowledgeable about the game or how it's played. He obviously knows that we are playing badly, but because he doesn't know what he's looking at he will just listen to whatever Radford is saying and take it as gospel, and Radford is obviously putting the blame on the players.
The fact is we are a rabble. The players can't be 100% blame free, but the vast majority of our problems stem from the way we are coached. I just really hope Pearson sees it before it's too late.

I feel fine, and will go to saints monday. I really don't care about Rugby results that much anymore, it does not drive my life as it once did. Rovers were not that good at all, it is not a criticism, just a fact. Very poor is probably not fair, I agree, but I meant it more about how bad we were than you.

Look mate,Rovers totally out played us,its a fact.IF we looked like we were going to score a try at any given moment I would have put the flags out. Even the one we scored was dubious. If Rovers had played like Hull you would be saying the same thing.

| Need to watch the game again because you miss things in the heat of the moment but defensively I thought we looked quite strong and for most of the 1st half we kept kr in there own half , I may be wrong but they only really stepped foot in our 20 from 2 penaltys in which they scored 2 try's , the 3 off a mistake from Talanoa . In that first half they seemed some very dubious call from the ref for there pensaltys aswell as the raising of the legs which went un punished (like I say I need to watch over again to be sure it wasn't just my black n white glasses) . The second half was possibly the worse half of rugby since SL started . On kr's 5th n lasted campese was giving so much time with his kicks it was a joke , attacking wise ..... well I really don't know we're to start it was depressing to watch and so predictable , really missed sneyde last night all our kick plays were shocking . I know a lot of flack falls on the shoulders of the coaches and fair enough but once they cross that white wash its upto the players , We looked rudderless while Campese coached that kr team to the win .
Anyway spending some time over easter with loved ones and then saints away !!! COYH iakow

You say that AP isn't knowledgeable about the game, but he's been immersed in it for getting on for 4 years. That's enough time to build up a basic but solid understanding - it's RL not astrophysics. Tbh, it's long enough to pick up at least the basics of the latter.
His mistakes have been more presentational and political - the early triumphalism that was followed 'only' by focused/limited investment, then (with hindsight) sacking off the wrong faction when there was a split in the camp.

| Didn't think the atmosphere was to bad for first 20, thought us fans got behind the team pretty well, didn't help the team one bit obviously. Rovers didn't get out of second gear, it was so easy for them it was a joke, think I was actually laughing most of the second half at our woeful attempts to attack, was so embarrassing
Unlike most, I don't actually think it would take to much sorting, just need Pearson to grow a pair, get rid of Radford, who is nothing more than an amateur coach , coaching professional rugby league players to play like amateurs. Get a professional coach in and I think he'd have this decent group of players playing to a decent level . RADFORD OUT , money I save not going until he's gone, will go on next season's pass, presuming he's gone by then

If I was a coach of a opposing team against kr on 5th tackle i would tell my team to bomb it aswell we have been shakey under the bomb i just thought we came up with the answers time and time again we defended the best we have all season, hull made plenty of meters I just thought your halfs was poor Pryce once had a good running game and made a very successful career out of it but the legs are going and he seems to look more like a forward (in physic) these days, Rankin I'm not sure what position he should play but it's not in the halfs ,you struggled with Dixon's pace and campese game management,
