He does. Unfortunately no amount of conditioning can prevent 3 broken legs/ankles in less than 3 years. Just bad luck.

.............and knee reconstruction, and wrist surgery. Lets hope he fully recovers and has a bit more luck in the future.

I think I'm counting the knee reconstruction as a break, I couldn't remember what he did last season, just remember him being in pot. I think the year before it was a broken ankle and this year a broken leg. I think the wrist was just a bit of a clean out wasn't it?

He had major knee surgery in 2010 when at still at York, after that I'm beginning to lose count.

Got to say I was a bit concerned by our team selection with Whiting at centre and Heremeia in the halves but... well played Radders!

That first half was some of the best attacking rugby I've seen FC play in years. A real delight to watch. Got to say that our pack looks immense this year too. Paea and Feka are looking like terrific signings in the props. Ellis seems to have stepped it up a gear this year but so have a lot of other players too I think. Westerman looks like a completely different player!

Thought that on the night but not seen the replay yet. Did anyone else think he bullied Bentham into giving it? He seemed to leap up and yell at Bentham and then Bentham blew the whistle and gave the try.

It wasn't even close. Said this a few pages back.
We were sat in the East stand right on line with the try line. He lost it about a foot from the floor. Didn't get anywhere near grounding it. Not a single person around us could understand how it was given, bias aside, it just wasn't a try.
I thought the last try was a bit dodgy too. Bentham gave it without a single thought. At that speed it would have been incredibly difficult for him to be 100% certain it was a try, in which case I'd have thought if there was any doubt (in games with no video ref) it should be disallowed.

the video just looks like he slams it down and bounces it out to the side about a foot out from the line, no idea how that was given.
