For me it has to be Rankin and Miller. As said Horne cant do a full season anymore and is a great back up and he'll help Rankin alot as they both seem the same type of player. But Miller is a totally different type of player and the only natural organiser at the club.'"
When has miller shown any organisational skills? He's struggled to organise himself for most of the times I've watched him play. He obviously has some talent but only a fool would play him instead of Horne currently

| I believe miller should be left out, because if he plays the fans will be divided who to make this seasons scapegoat, him or westerman.

Nah, they've already decided it's Miller, Westy is finally getting the plaudits he deserves. I did think Jordan Thompson would have pushed him closer though.

The short amount of time he was on on Sunday he was calling the shots and moments last year.
So you'd rather go in with 2 running half backs and Hornes drop off all game?

If you look at the thread "thoughts on players today" I think you will find plenty disagree !

I tend not to use this forum as an indicator of general fan feeling.

| Originally I wanted Rankin & Miller as I think they will compliment each other well. That said Miller hasn't really forced himself into the side yet and Horne on form is a better player. Either way Rankin has to play.
Slightly harsh on Miller perhaps as he hasn't had big minutes with the first teamers.

Sounds better than miller's "headless chicken" routine. I hope he does come good as we're desperate for him to but I've seen nothing to suggest he's anywhere near being a playmaker for a decent SL club.

| I do think the consistency in the halves is very important, but I think I would go with Horne and Rankin for our first game. Horney had a decent second stint yesterday. Happy with either Horne or Miller though, fans of both players for different reasons.

No point having consistency if the players aren't good enough

He must have a little something if Tim Sheens put him in the first team at 18, a junior kangaroo and named as half back of the Toyota comp 2 seasons ago.

Are you really suggesting that Tim Sheens know more than Jake. Behave yourself!!

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| I like the look of Rankin, could run at the line, sidestep and break a tackle. Hope he can get a good run of games in. Also liked the look of HTW considering his age and lack of experience.
As for Miller, he was quiet yesterday but nothing worrying at this stage of the season. I'd probably choose Horne and Rankin going on yesterday, but I'm sure that'll change as the season gets going.

Miller you mean? Horney? Or both?
What's your first opinion of Rankin?
