| If we're taking Pearson's word as unbreakable to even the tiniest extent, then rlhererl, he says
"James Rule ... done an excellent job rebuilding the club and ensuring financial stability. James will remain in charge of our club as Chief Executive and continue to be completely responsible for the new era of development at the KC stadium."
A few months later, he was sacked. Was Pearson lying when he took over the club, the stinking liar?
If he said in July that things would be done in Septmeber, do you not think some factors affecting that could have intervened in the 6 weeks or so since then? Hardly makes him a liar, does it?

| And in any case the first week of September hasn't ended yet, so we're all getting flustered for nothing.

| If the players we've signed have requested we keep it under wraps until they've finished their commitments with their present clubs what is he supposed to do?

If it's not sunny at both 9:00am and 10:00am in Hull tomorrow morning then the BBC weather forecasters are liars too!

| Quote: east hull FC fan "I'm saying that - yet again, AP has opened his mouth without thinking. Why would he say the first week in September if he's not going to do it? It was a lie, it's as simple as that.'"
Well i dont know the man anymore than anyone else does on here but over the years I have learned one thing about AP and that he is most certainly not a liar to my knowledge.
Shrewd, cut throat, and at times savage in his management style but a liar??? NO and i think its a tad nieve to state that IMO.
A while back he mentions the first week of September and hey plans changed SO WHAT???
an old military saying goes "all battle plans only survive the first point of contact then you think on your feet as you go forward based on experience" and that my friend is very relevant to AP and his plans, they changed so he changed with them
A Liar??? I doubt it,
FC through and through now??? given his own cash he is spending I expect so mate!!

Apologist.
I blame quotadexing. And licensing - but I blame everything on licensing at the moment.

| Only Hull (some) fans could get this worked up over the club taking time to announce signings.
What's the big deal? Other than it being slightly frustrating at not knowing for certain the identity of the signed players, what's to get worked up over really? Some of you lot really will moan at anything - what a fickle bunch.
Hull are investing heavily in their squad and infrastructure at a time when many other clubs are in financial difficulties. Be patient and enjoy it.

| Im also frustrated that nothing has been announced this week. But what we got to realise is they still going to be coming, so no need to panic. And is it only me who is happy with the Kyle Amor signing if it comes off? He is one of the main reasons that Wildcats have a crack at the play offs
