whilst I agree both should now be 1 big event they are currently 2 separate events hence both having opening and closing ceremonies.

I doubt they'll ever combine it, too much stigma in ssome other countries around EAD's.

paralympics tickets - a lot on sale for £15, around £30 for some of the top finals. hoping to get involved in this as i had a great time down in london last week. this is the greatest sporting event to happen in this country in my lifetime and its been brilliant. the only downside is it has to end and we go back to watching the overpaid, under performing greedy cheating circus that is premier league football

thank god for the climax of the rugby season

I looked online and they said that tickets get released next week, have you found a different site?

2m tickets already sold, which is unheard of for the Paralympics.

Must admit I'd been turned off the games by all the commercial and trademark shenanigans in the run up, but from the outstanding opening ceremony onwards I've been hooked and it's been a triumph IMO.

i just used the official site to check availability and prices - you need to log in and select the paralympics tab then choose the 'search events' option. mind you i've checked again today and the swimming has gone offline along with the rowing and archery, but the weightlifting is on there now all sessions are £15. i guess the availablity comes and goes like the current olympics.

apparently this is the highest demand for paralympics tickets in history
