If you've got FC Live, watch it again and he won't be. He was completely lost under kicks, he dropped 2 simple passes in good attacking positions and slowed the attack down.
I like Matty Russell. He's got potential, and he's keen. But if I was Shaun Wane, I'd recall him before his confidence is ruined.

I can't understand why people were raving about him after last week. Must have been watching a different game to me,. Some people see a player making a couple of decent runs and completely forget about all of the errors

He's shocking in an attacking line, the ball gets to him and he just palms it backwards.

I agree but I would stress these are only rumoured signings. If we can attract a good six and prop from the NRL then add some SL players I'd be happy.

He needs to develop his passing game big time as like you say he gets the ball and our attack just stops.

I thought McKinnon going was going to be a big loss but I didn't realise how much we would miss him.

It's not just his passing, it's his timing into the line, he never seems to get to the ball when he's meant too.

Another thing I noticed about him yesterday was that he spends most of his time in attack around dummy half, there were three or four times when we were on their line and Houghton had to shove him out the way to take control, when he should have been in a position to join the line.

We are missing Mckinnon's ability, but not his attitude.
