a bit hard to get the team performing on match day when you just landed in the country, training doesn't start for another 48 hours, some squad members aren't in the country yet and the first game is more than 3 months away.

Clearest message from the two videos on the website is that there is a renewed focus on youth development, whether that be facilities, full-time training with the main squad, balancing the squad to avoid "blockers" (ie average players being recruited that end up blocking homegrown player opportunities) or just giving these young players the necessary opportunities. Seems a nice, genuine bloke, very excited to be here. Welcome, Peter, and good luck.

Finally just watched the interview! Thought he came across genuinely excited about getting started and for the positive future of the club. Like a breath of fresh air in some parts!
