Some may look at Potter with Bradford and say he is Australian but to be fair he has inherited a poor squad and are in a phase of rebuilding. Where McDermott at Leeds had inherited a good squad in done nothing much.'"

Done. I said to Rule he's talked on KCFM about appraisals and individual performance targets before, so one can only assume that Agar's kept his job because he's met all his targets. In which case, the targets aren't high enough for a club that claims to be "A grade". |

His current one expires end 2012. I'm expecting a post-defeat "boost" of a 2 year extension to be announced tomorrow morning though.  |

Agar is going nowhere I'm affraid. Makes you wonder what it will take before the BOD realise that they lack ambition due to the retention of a coach not good enough for SL.

Even Agar can't survive a slump in gates (which has already started to happen) we only made £30K on the last set of accounts...and as soon as that turns to a loss they will act.
The few thousand chanting Agar out at the Wakefield game at least was commented on by the HDM, the club and the players...and that was a short burst at the end of a game where many fans had already stormed off home. It would only take a couple of games of prolonged 'Agar Out' chants for things to get really heated up in the board room. |

Crowds are already well down so that wont have much effect. Agar out chants or messages seem to have very little effect as well. I just dont see our board getting rid of him anytime soon and a decent cup run will see him keep his job for another year. |
