| Quote: BaldRick "Regarding the 'obstruction' try . Would it have been a try if it had been a player , and not the referee , that caused the obstruction ?
Thoughts .'"
I didn't think there was alot in it tbh, he made contact with Ogre but Ogre wasn't getting anywhere near Roby. If it was a player then it may have been chalked off but the ref is classed as part of the field so it's irrelevant, Ganson had to give it.

| Quote: brook40 "I thought in the first half you were going to put the game beyond us,your offloads in the tackle were killing us but then we got a sniff and scored a try and thats all Saints need to get some confidence. As for the ref well first of all i agree that refs shouldnt be allowed to ref thier hometown team. There were some 50/50 calls the Washbrook one being one of them it certainly divided the comentary team. The Foster knock on however was the right call Foster is bringing the ball into his body, theres no seperation between him and the ball and its then knocked on by a Hull player.
Good entertaining game hower and for you to get 5 points from the Easter period is a good return for you.Good luck for the rest of the season.'"
It was lost by foster and never touched Horne's hands so our srum or advantage a TRY

Foster never let go of the ball so it couldn't have been a knock on

Foster never had full control of the ball and the ball was away from his hand when Horne made contact with the ball so basically two knock on's with fosters been the first.
Should have been scrum too Hull........

| the way i saw it was Foster was in the act of catching the ball and Horne knocked it from his grasp, right decision for mine. The washbrook one i think he got wrong,he went to catch the ball, not tackle the player,he had as much right to penalise the saints player as washbrook.

| The ball WAS in contact with Foster's hand when Horne knocked it on so the decision was right.
You lot need to stop clutching at straws.

I've watched it plenty of times thanks.
So you are saying that Horne didn't even touch the ball? How exactly did the ball suddely change direction then?

Sorry Besty watched it a few times now and Foster never had control of the ball and the ball was away from his hand before Horne touched it.
Totally agree with the Washbrook one he had his on the ball all the time...

| Regardless of what people think about the knock on, that decision was Thaler's so Ganson can't be blamed.
Saints had two fine passes given as forward, Meli's and Roby's.

| Foster clearly knocks on as does Horne, should've been Hull ball.
As for the penalty, crazy decision. Washbrook's arms indicate that without a doubt he was challenging for the ball.

I think the fact washy never took his eyes of the ball aswell as his arms clearly indicates he was challenging for the ball..
