| I'm amazed that your all creaming over the thought of signing Sammut, who lets face it was an ok player in an ordinary Crusaders team last year! to be willing to throw money at this signing would imo be bad business! i think you should be looking at a marque signing in the halfs next season and maybe get some cheap cover this year!
now if only there was someone who had played 7 & 9 in the nrl and sl, was a good organiser on the pitch, is if i'm correct now a British citizen due to english wife and residence rule? settled and working in Hull already, and i reckon would be more then happy to get on the boots as cover whilst not breaking the bank!
we used to have someone that fits the bill at our club but let him go and not sure what he's up to now  |

Comprehension is not grammar. Although knowledge of one would help the other. Looks like you're done for in both respects TBH.
BTW according to the league table we were the best team in the city just last season. Which given how generally poor we were doesn't say a lot for your mob.
Lastly, only one set of fans has 'best team in the city' as their primary measure of success - and it ain't us. |

What would be bad business is sticking £260k per year into your half backs when one had a background of being a unstable alcoholic jailbird, this coupled with stumping an upfront signing on fee to an overseas "star" before they have the right documents to travel to these shores and renting half of your proposed stadium rebuild on the hope your gates go up by 1500 shows the lack of business accument by some.
As for Sammut, i'd like us to pay a fee in the region of a million quid on the provision that he scores 6 and sets up 6 more tries at wembley on the 27th August 2011 against your lot while you are still looking to free Willie!
