I have to agree. The worrying thing is since the end of 2009 we've released 15 senior players (Tony, Calders, Bryne, Raynor, Thorman, Codobra, Berrigan, Hodgson, Yak, G. Horne, Thackray, King, Maloney, Burnett, Hall) and signed just 6 (Fitzgibbon, O'Meley, Turner, Long, Westerman and Sharp). Obviously the quality of the second list is a lot better than the first, and we've had a few youth players come through and establish themselves (Briscoe and Houghton) but it's still a worrying stat IMO.

I agree, don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting we shouldn't have released them - I'm just questioning the quantity we've replaced them with (if we do in fact go into the new season with this squad)

Why on earth aren't leeds interested in signing Moore?

they have Burrow and Mcguire but IMO could still be in need of a backup just like us. I realise they may move Sinfield to the halves in the event of inury but why not sign Moore!?

Lets face it, if they wanted him then they would sign him ahead of us and most other clubs...

Maybe he enjoys playing in the championship - as opposed to not playing in SL?

Without going into exact numbers, to who would you make his Hull FC deal roughly equivalent in terms of pay? He won't be raking it in at Batley, but it sounds like he is one of their stars. Is he full-time there? Would he have to give up additional income to turn ft in SL?

He left there not on great terms apparently after they did not to let him move to another super league club and then failed to keep the promises made to keep him. The link below from Rhinos site states that Leeds agreed to release him from his contract, which appears to be at his request to join knights for the remainder of the season.

Just heard that Bradford have signed Kyle Briggs fron Fev an hour ago who is a 6.

maybe we have somebody better coming in.

Seen Briggs quite a few times and he looks a good player, On the few occasions I've seen Moore play he looks more likely to make it at the very top level in my opinion.

I still reckon we're trying to get more bodies in and am bracing myself for distinctly underwhelming signings when Rich panics and realises he hasn't got enough players. Surely marquee signings would have been done and dusted by now?
