Right, i'm getting annoyed now, a few points in my rant (no particular order)!!!

1: Ganson was a complete c0ck today, he would not give us any penalty even when manu got 'knee'd' over in the tackle, no penalty. but warrington got them!! Lots of dubious decisions, not all his fault but a big factor on the result.

2: Fans who left at the end (10mins before the end), yes i know they pay their money and support their club but please, the players played their hearts out and look up to see an empty stadium. If they'd have been destroyed and didn't care, fair enough. But i genuinely feel we deserved something out of todays game!!

3: GET OFF AGARS BACK!! Every day i come on here and i see posts about dropping horne, whiting and how many others? Has he got one wrong yet?? Whiting has been immense this year, particularly today.. how can you drop him? I called for horne's head myself and he's since been brilliant when he's played so i eat my words.. I'm happy to eat my words all season if it means Agar keeps making correct decisions!! He's doing a good job, give the guy a foooooking chance FFS.

4. The RFL need to get a grip on the rules, after many (what i would call) shocking decisions both ways, the worst one was the dragging into touch incident!! We need to sort this out!! CAN WE, OR CANT'T WE??? When we do it, it's a penalty, when it's against us, it's fine!! What is going on?? If the refs don't know the rules how can the players and fans know?? Stop the abuse from supporters by helping them to know WTF is going on!! This needs clearing up, and quickly!!

RANT OVER, i think...

Now i'll take cover icon_wink.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Good effort by all the lads. Not much in it - just the experienced pivots that Wire had made the difference in the end. Augers well for the season. Important that the lads regroup and take confidence from a very tough easter weekend. No time for a dip now we have to kick on. Thought the forwards were immense today especially those who toughed it out on Friday. With a full team out I think we would have exploited the field position we had better and come out on top.

Didn't think we would get anything today, & that was before I saw the reshuffled side. Then we lost Longy & I feared the worst.
The application from the side today though was superb.
Think it proves the spirit within the camp must be really good. I was as proud of the team today as I was on Friday.

No, I'm not saying your any less of a fan or any other for that matter!! We all pay the same entry fee and may do as we wish!!
I just feel for the players to have played their hearts out after a few mid game injuries against a poor referee after a gruelling derby game, and ended up on the wrong side of a big scoreline that certainly did not reflect the game!! And after all of that they look up and see everybody gone!!! Not at the final hooter, but 15 mins from the end when Warrington went 2 full scores in front!! Give the lads some kind of lift and then maybe they'll care in their next game!!
We need to pick them up as much as the coach does otherwise we can't blame anyone but ourselves!!

also, I've done my 15yr stint myself and will do til the day I die!!!

Those lads deserved to be clapped off. So we stayed and clapped them off. It would be nice if people didn't go early, but some will always do it, it's one of those things.

I appreciate that and don't have too much of an issue with it!! But just as an opposition try goes over and everyone walking out is what really gets my back up!! It's just like you're giving up, but the team don't just give up and walk out do they??

Todays result did not reflect the effort the team put it I will give you that, proud of the way they stood up and for the majority of the match held firm. Ganson made is usual howlers, but he did not lose the game for Hull that was lost on Good Friday and the wear and tear on the pack during that game.

Wire where always going to be the stronger in the last 15 or so and thus it proved, FC where dead on there feet towards the end. Losing Long early on was a bad blow, but they rallied around and with maybe a few less injuries during the match could have toughed it out. I question the wisdom in selecting Reece Lynne, clearly it would have been madness to toss him into the fray, I suspect the seventeen on duty where only fit players we had left.

With Leeds coming up the next two weekends its hardly the right time to play them as they seem to be finding a bit of form and players are coming back. We shall see, but the rest of the seasons fortunes could well be lying on the stadia of both East and West Hull.
