I think he's been dropped. Surprised because I feel we need his defensive strength and speed against Wigan. He's our only proper winger ffs.'"
Must be me I thought I read it somewhere..you maybe right, being a hectic week

He is Mr consistant and in terms of value for money has been possibly the best signing we've made in superleague. His partnership with Richards is possibly the best centre/wing combo in superleague so to have that split up can only add to Hulls chances.'"
I really rate Carmont and have been saying for months that he is just the sort of player FC are missing in the backs. Disappointed he's missing out. Although as said, it's a plus for us really.

Definately, someone mentioned it earlier in the week that he may be a doubt after last Fridays game.

And yet when we were linked with him a few years back most of the self proclaimed NRL experts on here said he wasn't good enough.

Hardly self proclaimed experts, but having watched a lot of NRL then entitled ot an opinion. He had never shown anything like the sort of form he has for Wigan, I quite liked him but did not think he was good enough for a quota spot.

| I think all Wigan fans have been as stunned as anyone with Carmonts form for us. I remember when we signed him we had plenty of opposition fans on our board pis*ing themselves as they said he was terrible and in a way you couldn't help believe them as he hadn't got a contract with an NRL club after being released by Newcastle.
I'd like to think it's him thats improved and not the standard of superleague thats made him look a very good player. I think it is tbh. I read he only signed pro terms pretty late(around 23-24) so he's still pretty fresh and even at 31 is possibly in his peak.
Talking of centres how's Yeamans form been? I remember a few years back he looked top draw but his career seemed to stall a little bit. It'd be good for England if he could hit his straps again.

Personally never thought Carmont that good at all. Was interested in reading the Wigan's fans posts though. Will have another look and see.

Yeaman has been outstanding defensively. In attack he has looked much better and has been working hard but there is still more to come from him on harder pitches and quicker service from Long.

Neither him nor Yeaman for the next 2 years according to the HDM comments section earlier. Is that what you're getting at?

| Would people seriously pair Hall and Turner on one side of the pitch? Suicidal idea.

| Whiting to centre, Houghton on the Bench, if Berrigan is getting spelled (as he has done everygame) we might as well play a hooker there, rather than move people about when we dotn need too.
