Feel sorry for Chev with his recent injuries as he has missed quite a few games for Rovers since signing but with his determination and undoubted natural talent i'm sure he will be back again as good as ever before we know it.

I know exactly how you feel Karen, i felt just like that, said to my husband that I felt for Keith Senior and that he looked stunned and horrified when he saw what had happened,

To be fair, I don't think they realised what had happened when they were replaying it. They were saying how it must have been bad because Senior signalled straight away, but none of them seemed to realise that his shin bone was poking out. Once they realised, they never showed it again.

Totally agree Karen. Thought Coddy was a bit out of order tbh, though I can see where he's coming from.

I saw it last night and I have seen it before with a 15 year old lad in my sons team about 20 foot away from me. I heard his bone snap like a twig and I bet Senior did as well, no one would wish that on any one.

I hope he makes a swift recovery and it does not blight his career, its bloody hard sport at time is R. L.

I've just seen the photo of his leg in the one of the national newspapers. Absolutely horrible injury, i wish him all the best and a speedy recovery and he's able to play rugby again to his full potential.

I Understand How Bad Of An Injury That Really Was For Chev And I Wish Him All The Best And Hope He Gets Better As Soon As.
While He Was Going Off I Was Sat In My Living Room Clapping Him Off As Sad As That Sounds I Did!
But I Do Recall On Our Home Game To Rovers Tom Briscoe Went Off Due To Another Ankle Injury And Yes I Also Understand That Rovers Scored Right After That So They Was Showing How Proud They Was Of There Team, But Still I Would Have More Respect For Everyone/Everything Rovers If They Would Of Stopped Clapping And Cheering Until Tom Went Off Outta Respect.
Then Showed How Proud They Was.
I Find It Rude It Wont Be Long Before They Want Him!
As It Stands That Night I Was Shown How Most Rovers Fans Only Care About Themselves And They Dont Care Who Gets Hurt While There On There Way!

A lot of great posts in this thread, but that is the biggest load of b*llocks I've read in a long while! Tom was applauded by 20,000 people that day out of respect and appreciation, from both sets of fans.

It's injuries like Chev's that put everything into perspective. The pantomime of fans "hatred" takes a back seat, as should the cheap points scoring.

As i said before what about the Red c**** near us who clapped and cheered at Wembley when Horne got pasted and when Briscoe got carried off??
