Thanks for the abuse, but on 31st March 2008, Paul Lakin announced to the press that Craven Park's capacity would be 14,000 by 2010. In January this year, in an "article" in the HDM Neil Hudgell said that the plans would not meet the previously declared deadlines (which were interstingly included in Rovers franchise application) citing the credit crunch as making it difficult to raise the required funding. Rovers debt of £2.4m won't be helping either. |

Lakin said capacity would be 12,000 for this season and 14,000 for the start of 2010. That's not happened yet as the funding that was expected has not been secured. No straw-clutching here, just FACTS. |
