| Quote: Fully "Debatable.
All the media report we were the better out of the two sides. The Mirror, Yorkshire Evening Post both agree that they were bad decisions.
In a way they did contribute to our loss, but other aspects also demoralisingly cost us too. That penalty incident gave you the lead and also the impetus when really, it should have been the opposite way to us.
That first try of yours shouldn't have been again, and we should have been heading in at 6-0. That try lifted your spirits, and all too often the sides who score it come out better for it (which is what happened).
As for the final try, Calderwood clearly shoves Shenton while he attempts to shield it out, which again, should have gone our way. Swings and roundabouts really, but that should have been a loss in your favour really, not ours. Severely disappointed, but we have to move on. No time to cry about it really.'"
I see things without the rose tinted glasses most do on here, and i agree with you on all 3 counts

It would have been a travesty if Salford had lost that match , we was that poor and deserved nothing

We got we deserved out of that match nothing, i thought we got a few calls during the day in our favour, yes the blatant forward pass changed the result but we didn't do nothing to warrant us winning the match

Which counts for precisely nowt.
In sport you will occasionally lose games you deserved to win, and win games you deserved to lose. The point is that all this hair-shirt-wearing self-flagellation whenever we manage a win is rather tiresome and pointless.
Cas had plenty of chances to win yesterday. They didn't. ATEOTD we did enough to beat them. That's all that counts.

Ah the old 'we got what we deserved' line. You win by scoring more points than the opposition. That is the way that rugby league games are decided. We would have scored more than Salford had that pass been ruled forward. Anything else around that is bullsh[ii[/it and waffle. The fact is that some, like you, blame the ref when we win and absolve him when we lose. Bizarre. It's like you're disappointed when we win and revelling in it when we lose. Even more bizarre.

I get the feeling that certain 'revolutionaries' have got to the point where they're actually disappointed when we win.
That's not just bizarre, that's pitiful.

| Not only did Bentham make a host of shocking decisions (Hull scrum instead of a Cas penalty when Calderwood pushed Shenton, Hull penalty instead of a Cas penalty when Calderwood was all over Wainwright, gave a try from 3 forward passes and a knock on in the build up).
But he also, on no fewer then 5 occasions, started Cas on the 1st tackle instead of the zero after collecting the ball after FC knock ons - how can you explain that one down to tinted specs?
How could we also forget the constant interference from the play the ball from Hull - Cas should have been awarded a lot more then just the 1 penalty, in fact it should have been a lot closer to 10.
Cas had plenty of chances to win the game, but ultimately not taking them chances and Bentham being atrocious cost Cas the game.

I think it affects the planning meeting attendance level down at revolution central when we win. Been a tough couple of weeks in that respect.

Bless.
I see that the whining culture is endemic at Castleford, from the coach on down.

| Seems swings an roundabouts to me. Somedays you get calls go your way others they go against you..
I think some should stop being totally against what the team do and get back to what we should be doing and support the team.
Don't get me wrong I ain't totally happy with how we are playing as a team..
