Think that’s another indication into how big the buy in is by Thirkill & Hood and I don’t mean in financial terms. 


They believe in the club, the players, the staff, the fan base and the community as a whole. 


It’s things like this that show you it’s not just about the money/investment it’s the legacy and responsibility of being the custodians of the club that they certainly get and have immersed themselves in to. 


This would be a huge step and opportunity for the young lads to be a part of, credit to all involved if/when it comes off.

If I were a young RL player in the city it's another reason why Hull FC would be the club I'd want to be signing for.

Also, I'm told tonight that the site in Cottingham could be Hilltop, especially as the players all use Total Fitness too.


Also, the coaches to away games are 50% funded by the opposition. We've guaranteed big followings and were going halves on the coaches.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't, think he is on 50k of the salary cap. Not 100% sure he would be worth the salary he would demand.

Don't think we are too bad for centres, Rapana, Hardraker and Litten, with Chamberlain and Westerman as back up.


Maybe Briscoe too, if he goes then I'd expect a replacement to be brought in.

I watched Steven Crichton for Bulldogs and wondered if there is even a Centre in SL like him.My brother bumped into Davy Litten in Smokehouse yesterday.
Davy had the potential - he needs to become a physical beast to fulfill it 
Could he bulk up and add another 7-10kg of muscle and keep the speed?


I think the same of Barron and Martin- if they could Bull out like Warbrick at Storm for example.


Now I’m not saying be as good 
BUT they certainly can build the same physique as that’s just hard work in the gym !! It’s very possible 


Hopefully by the start of 2026 season all 3 of those players are 
Beasts
