Carvell was due to play at Cas but in the last training session of the week his leg gave way when he tried to push off and sprint. Doesn't know how long it has set him back by. Is hoping it is jut a week or 2. That is what he told Kirk Dixon on sunday. |

Appeal tonight, lets hope he can got off or at least get it down to 1 match. Appeal at 6:20 tonight.
Carvell seems to have returned to the injury prone player he was last time at Hull, typical after having a great fitness record at Warrington.

Wasn't at the game, although some that were don't know why he has been charged, just wondering if it was a cannonball tackle? I remember someone getting banned for that kind of tackle, something they want to clamp down on which is understandable.
however, if players are getting charged and banned for x amount of games then surely these incidents are worthy of a red or at least a yellow card on the day

The Cas player was being tackled by 2 Hull players when Paea took him round the legs
I'd imagine with just 1 minute of play to go he just wanted to get the tackle completed asap.

On a similar note, was McIlorum's available to see anywhere? For some strange reason (I can't possibly imagine what), the breaking of Dixon's jaw wasn't included in the footage of either the Super League Show or Super League Full Time. Carney's punch was, though. Funny that.
