I am fairly new to the forum, posted 3 or 4 times in the past, but have been watching Hull for 34 years (sh*t thats an awful long time ) but what I have learnt is most who post really know nothing or at best guess well. I have contacts too who are close to Hull but as professionals do not tell you what is confidential so you only gets hints of the truth and I would not expect them to.

The point is Rangi would have been fantastic but I suspest it will not happen . But whoever we get or not I will still be watching. Hoping we can win every game, despite what the head says the heart will always rule.

Suppose what I am saying is I truly believe we have a better side next year,witha bit of luck and honerable and skillful coach, we may be challanging for honours regardless of who else arrives or not.

According to a poster on the Bradford RL Fans site it has been stated on the Telegraph and Argus site that Hull have signed Bateman, I havent checked the source and it may just be wild speculation, but it would fit in with what Unopposed said a while ago about signing another forward (obviously not Taylor as we now know). Bradford didn't sound too optimistic about getting him to sign an extended contract either, so maybe they have cashed in.
Naturally anything that could allow Tickle to be transferred to us is good news in my book so I hope you get him! Even Warrington might not be able to squeeze him under their elastic salary cap, so you may have a free run at him!
