| After a little reality check yesterday, be interesting to see what we do in terms of recruitment.
Think it an ideal world we would sign a top and prop, but with limited domestic quality players and no quota spots as yet, that wont be easy.
Fullback: Think we are ok, with Pryce, Moy, Rapana and L Kemp
Wingers: Need either Briscoe for another year or get someone in, Martin and Barron should be first choice wingers, we have a few who can cover wing if needed.
s: This is a interesting one, think we have enough depth, but lacking quality, Litten has to be first choice, think he is developing well then Hardraker, with Rapana, Chamberlain and Westermann as back ups.
Halfbacks: Think we are ok for once, Sezer, Cust, C Kemp, Pryce and Charles
Hookers: Again ok with Bourouh, Balmforth and Hutchinson, Cust can cover too
Props: Another area to strengthen, think Ese Ese, Ashworth and Hill are first 17 props, with Aydin, Salabio and Fash as backups, think we could do with one more, but don't think it's worth a quota spot on Knight, ideally we pay a fee and get someone of the quality as Harrison or Wilson, if not we may have to take a gamble on the likes of Eseh, Bullock or Dezaria. Need two if Ashworth doesn't stay. If the rules change look for a quality prop.
Backrow: For the first time in a while we seem to be ok, with Cartwright, Batchelor, Bell, Bailey and Kirby
LF: Asiata with Bell as back up.
If the rules change we also have the option to keep Sao or sign someone like Satae.
I think we will go with what we have in the backs, unless we don't keep Briscoe.

| I know it’s a long way ahead but sure the club are already talking to people but for 2027 we would have Four overseas spots potentially available that correct?

| Ideally in two years we have at least two of these good enough to play superleague.l regularly
Moy, Westerman, Charles or the Kenps. Would make recruitment much easier. Like Wigan wr should be looking at 2 players every year coming into challenge our 17 from within.

| We could do with some forwards coming through. All of our forwards seem too small compared to wigan, Leeds and saints

That's a weird one, as we have always been able to bring through Forwards more than backs in the past. Wainhouse is huge, but seems to have gone off the radar. ..Everytime I've watched our reserves and academy we always seem to be smaller than the other sides. Hopefully Fekas lad is a big as him.

| Can't beat a bit of intrigue on a Wednesday!!!!! Bit hard to know where to place this query so put it in here . At 18-09 Hull daily Mail was linked by the news now RL website with the headline 'Hull FC announce groundbreaking Australian Tour including matches against NRL Youth sides'. But by I got to read the article it had been removed anyone know anything.

| Managed to give it a quick read before it got taken down.
It's a 3 week tour of Aus for the youth team. Thirkill and Hood are paying for the lads to go over. They'll be training at NRL facilities while they are over there.
Had quotes from Richard Tate so it'll all be legit, guessing Dan pulled the trigger a day early

| Good to hear and something we couldn't have afforded last season. Hopefully helps in attracting players to the club

| Think that’s another indication into how big the buy in is by Thirkill & Hood and I don’t mean in financial terms.
They believe in the club, the players, the staff, the fan base and the community as a whole.
It’s things like this that show you it’s not just about the money/investment it’s the legacy and responsibility of being the custodians of the club that they certainly get and have immersed themselves in to.
This would be a huge step and opportunity for the young lads to be a part of, credit to all involved if/when it comes off.
