Bit of perspective needed, considering how abject last year was. Myler, Thirkhill and Cartwright won’t mess about, and they’ve got the resources to make the required changes.
I’m pretty relaxed about Hull, knowing we’re in good hands. 


I’m more concerned about the game generally. Standard is garbage and getting worse year on year. 

I agree with the fact that we really need to remember the last few seasons and what we were watching week in and week out. My point is we appear to be ahead of what was expected this season and with a targeted approach to make the right players available we would not only be top six, but challenging for trophies. The question for me is what are we aiming for this season, I understand injuries have impacted on us big style, but that just shows our lack of depth. Are we hoping to sneak a top six spot or will we be happy with eight or ninth? I wouldn't expect too many players back in the next week or so, so whilst the effort is great to watch the quality will be missing, so a drop down the table would be expected, unless we bring in players to change this.
