If they'd come out and said they will be using the time during his ban to operate on a minor knock people would be completely fine with it. Instead it comes out the week everyone was expecting him to return.

It just creates doom and gloom which could be so easily avoidable.

Yep and the club either just don't seem to learn or are that interested. At a time when things have been poor on the field for long enough and AP has openly said he needs the fans you'd think even someone with a low IQ would have the foresight to engage with its core fan base at the very least.

Hope that's not the case but if so then I agree the club is a shambles, and lacking any guts. Honestly even though I have a pass I am seriously considering just calling it a day as I'm so disillusioned with not just the sport but the club I've followed for 45 years. Just feels like as fans we are just getting the proverbial pee extracted.
Any glimpse of hope or optimism I get just gets whipped away either by the club or the RFL and just about had enough.

Think most of us would but just can't see it happening as that means engaging with the life blood of the club. Just feels like AP has lost interest and we are just treading water on the field like the bad old days of Uncle Kath.
